Derald M. “Dow” Schultz, 78, of Lake Barrington, at rest June 18, 2006, a WWII Navy Veteran, a graduate of Elmhurst College, retired V.P. of Information Systems at Ameritech after 37 years of service, beloved husband of Esther A., nee Altergott; devoted father of Kerin Montgomery, Kurt (Wendy) and Kyle (Catherine) Schultz; cherished grandfather of Lindsay (Scott) Latzke, Lauren, Leslie, Derek, Tyler and Christine Schultz; loving great-grandfather of Sydney and Alex Latzke. Lying in state Wednesday 9:30 a.m. until the time of Service at 10:30 a.m. at The Presbyterian Church of Barrington, 6 South Brinker Rd., Barrington Hills. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Barrington.
