William E. Thompson, age 88, beloved husband of 64 years to Helen; loving father of William “Bill” E. (Tina) Thompson II; dear grandfather of Heather and Eric; dear brother of Margaret Jensen, Jack (Helen) Thompson and the late Alice Jane Wyrozumski, Dorothy Nord and Charlene Strong. A funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Norris Funeral Home, 100 S. Third Street (3 blocks west of the Fox River and 1 block south of Rt. 64), St. Charles. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday followed by the funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
