Annette B. Major, age 91, over 20 years of Tinley Park, formerly of Chicago, passed away June 20, 2006. Precious wife of the late Proctor O. Major (1982); beloved daughter of the late George and Elsie Baxter; and adored godmother of Claudia Ann Focks and Laura Focks; also beloved cousin of Jodi Tanrikulu. Past Matron of Damascus Chapter #744, a Grand Lecturer Emeritus of the O.E.S., Grand Martha in 1977, past National President of Lambda Tau Delta Sorority and a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, Chapter H.M. She will be resting at Hirsch Lincolnway Chapel, 3501 W. Lincoln Hwy., Matteson, IL, on Friday, June 23, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, the time of her Funeral Service. Interment at Chapel Hill Gardens South in Oak Lawn. Memorials may be made to Grand Chapter, O.E.S., Endowment Trust Fund, or First Church of Christ Scientist, Palos Park, IL.
