Arthur M. Wood, 93, of Lake Forest, IL, died June 18, 2006, husband of the late Pauline Palmer Wood (1984); father of Pauline Wood (Bill) Egan of Skillman, NJ and Jackson Hole, WY and Arthur M. (Peggy) Wood Jr. of Lake Forest, IL; grandfather of Kate (Tom) Gilbane, Will Egan, Jane (Eric) Bertelson, Timothy Egan, Emily Egan, Abigail Wood and Daisy Wood. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, June 22 at the First Presbyterian Church, 700 N. Sheridan Rd., Lake Forest, IL 60045. There will be no visitation and the interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chicago Botanic Garden, Art Institute or to Princeton University.
