Julie Wright, nee Shaftic, 45, formerly of Schaumburg. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 E. Algonquin Road, South Barrington. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Countryside Funeral Home, 950 South Bartlett Road (at Stearns Road), Bartlett. Born June 8, 1961 in Rome, NY to Richard and the late Patricia, nee Perritt, Shaftic, she died Sunday, June 18, 2006 at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights after a courageous 5 year battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife for 20 years of Scott; loving mother of Matt and Justin; dear sister of Laurie (Mike) Rzadzki of Hoffman Estates and Susan (Tim) Converse of Edwardsville; cherished daughter of Richard and the late Patricia Shaftic, nee Perritt, of Schaumburg; granddaughter of Margaret (Dean) Richards of Bradenton, FL; beloved aunt of Mike, Danielle, Jenny, Katie, Eric, Jenna, Patricia, Mike, Drew and Conor; beloved sister-in-law of Gary (Roberta) of St. Charles and Jill (Andy) Wieteska of West Dundee; cherished daughter-in-law of Lee and Darlene, nee Bowers, of Hoffman Estates; and loving owner of “Bella”.
