He’s a solo-man
Air guitar, schmair guitar. Here’s a rocker bent on breaking the sound barrier: Watch local musician Jef Sarver attempt to reclaim the Guinness World Record for longest guitar marathon. His 600-song set started at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday; chances are he needs your support (and extra fingers), stat. Stop by between 4-6 p.m., and get a sandwich, chips and soda with a $5 donation to Rock for Kids. Sarver hopes to hold the title by 12:30 p.m. Friday. Potbelly Sandwich Works, 190 N. State St. 312-683-1234.
