Nicole Kidman Wedding Watch, Day 4: Naomi Watts has jetted into Sydney for the wedding of Kidman to Keith Urban.

The ceremony is widely expected to be held this weekend. Watts, who was born in Britain but raised in Australia, arrived Wednesday on a flight from New York.

“I’m very excited for my friend,” Watts told reporters after saying she wasn’t “at liberty to discuss” any details of the event. She and Kidman met when they were young actresses in Sydney.

Watts was expected to attend a bachelorette party later Wednesday.

United they swim

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline took to Miami for a Father’s Day weekend in the sun, people.com reports. They spent Saturday aboard a rented yacht and caught the Heat-Mavericks NBA Finals game on Sunday, which Miami won. Federline went out solo Friday night, but it was to promote his rap album at a nightclub.

Crash course

Eva Longoria got a jolt–but was not hurt–when a car collided with the Range Rover she was riding in Tuesday in West Hollywood, “Access Hollywood” reports. “She’s fine. She wasn’t driving,” Longoria’s rep told “Access.” The “Desperate Housewives” star attended a T-Mobile party later that night.

‘Idol’ update

Taylor Hicks made “American Idol” proud by becoming the fourth “Idol” winner to debut on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Hicks’ single “Do I Make You Proud” sold more than 200,000 units, including digital downloads, billboard.com reports. Clay Aiken’s “This Is The Night” moved a whopping 393,000 singles after Season 2.
