Dr. Kenneth M. Edwards age 68, beloved husband of Glenda, nee Gapa; loving father of Steven and Kevin; cherished son of Stella Miskawitz-Gowryluk and the late Adam Miskawitz; stepson of the late Mike Gowryluk; dear brother of Dawn (late Ron) Kwolek and Leo (Lily) Adams; and uncle and great-uncle of many. Ken was the owner of barber and cosmetology schools throughout Illinois, for over 30 years, including Moler Hairstyling College in Aurora, Joliet and Chicago. At 51, Ken returned to school, with his wife Glenda, to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a Chiropractic Physician and was treating patients until the day he died. Ken’s primary goal in life was to serve God; and he did so for many years as an elder at the Berean Bible Students Church in Cicero, and later, for International Bible Fellowship. Memorial Friday, June 23, with visitation at 4:30 p.m. and service at 6 p.m.; Christ Church of Oak Brook, 31st and York Road.
