Frank E. Buck, 40, of Rockford, IL, formerly of Prophetstown, died Monday, June 19, 2006 at his home. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at the First Congregational Church, Prophetstown. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Prophetstown. Visitation was Thursday at the Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Prophetstown. A Memorial Fund has been established. Frank was born Oct. 25, 1965 in Morrison, IL, the son of Ronald and Delores, nee Farrell, Buck. He graduated from Prophetstown High School, Class of 1984. He later attended Black Jr. College and Sauk Valley Community College. He was currently a regional sales manager for Carr-Lane Manufacturing Co., St. Louis, MO. Frank was a member of the First Congregational Church and active in amateur tournament bass fishing. Survivors include his parents, Prophetstown; a brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Jeanene Buck, Wilmette, IL; a niece and nephew, Marina and Brandon Buck.
