George A. Davis, formerly of Carol Stream, IL, passed away on June 8, 2006 at his home in Joplin, MO. Born January 4, 1926 in Chicago, IL, he married Elaine Pries on April 19, 1947. He worked as a pressman for the Chicago Tribune and the Sun-Times and as a foreman for Plastofilm in Wheaton, IL for 25 years. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving at Iwo Jima.
