Daniel Charles Frantzen, 60, of Elk Grove Village for 17 years, died peacefully on Thursday, June 8. He was born on Dec. 31, 1945 in Chicago. Daniel retired on April 1, after working as an ironworker with Local Union #1 for 33 years. Cherished husband of Sally, nee Foster, for 21 years; beloved brother-in-law of Lorraine (Jim) Stewart, John (Sue) Foster, Gary Foster and Jean Frantzen; loving son of the late Joseph and Irene Frantzen; loving son-in-law of the late Lowell Foster; beloved brother of the late Joseph Frantzen; loving uncle of Joe Frantzen, Eric Stewart, Tim, Ed, Amy Foster and the late Charissa Frantzen; great-uncle of Derek and Joey; fond cousin of Eileen and Nancy. He touched the lives of many people. Visitation Sunday, June 25, 3 to 9 p.m. at The Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Rd., Roselle.
