Bet you didn’t know that funnyman David Alan Grier once proposed to Oprah Winfrey. At least, that’s what he told us.
Grier, in town through Sunday performing at the Improv comedy club in Schaumburg, said, “I got on my knees and I said, `Oprah, will you marry me? I’m not going to be like Stedman [Graham]–I will be glued to you. I’m not going to be waiting in the car.'”
So Oprah or Halle Berry? “Oprah’s got billions,” Grier told us. “Halle’s got billions of problems.”
