Although the CBS show’s season finale made it seem his alter ego, Gibbs, was riding into the sunset, we wouldn’t bank on it. A series like “NCIS” needs a strong central figure, which is what Harmon has been to it from the start. We know personally that he’s smart enough to appreciate the kind of success he’s been having, so we expect that everything will be resolved for Gibbs early in the new season.
– Is the little girl who had a tattoo on her back in the Kevin Costner movie “Waterworld” now playing a high-school student on “Veronica Mars”? Her name could be Tina Majorino. –Bruce Nelson, Mountlake Terrace, Wash.
In fact, that is her name. She’s had a recurring role on the UPN series –which moves to The CW come September — as Mac. Also seen lately on HBO’s “Big Love,” Majorino is familiar to fans of the 2004 cult movie “Napoleon Dynamite” for her portrayal of Deb.
– Can you tell me what will happen to “Everwood” when The WB Network changes into The CW? It’s my favorite show and also a favorite of my 16-year-old granddaughter. –Pat Gross, Reno, Nev.
