This is regarding “Sending Dad off with a song, a sip and bowling” (Commentary, June 20), by Tribune columnist Charles M. Madigan. Thank you to Madigan for sharing his poignant memories of his father’s “send-off.”
While his dad wasn’t a participant in the singing, bowling, laughing and sipping of whiskey, somehow I feel he was an observer.
