Outsourcing for advantage
Technology Executives Club presents its 2006 Outsourcing Review. Buyer and supplier experts will share their insights on how outsourcing is contributing to corporate competitive advantage.
It happens Wednesday from 1 to 5:45 p.m. at the 410 Club in the Wrigley Building, 410 N. Michigan Ave.
Don Ryan, managing director at Keane Inc., will kick off the event with a discussion of the evolution of an outsourcing engagement.
Other speakers include Michael Mensik, partner at Baker & McKenzie and co-coordinator of its Global Information Technology/e-Commerce Law practice. Mensik will discuss “Building Trust Beginning with the Negotiation Process.”
Michael Filak, senior vice president of global business engineering for CGI Group Inc., will discuss “Nearshore Outsourcing: A Critical Element of a Global Delivery System.” There will also be a keynote panel discussion on outsourcing experiences from 4:15 to 5:15 p.m.
