One of my favorite places in Chicago has always been the Cultural Center on Randolph Street and Michigan Avenue. I went there often when it was the public library and now I go almost every week.

Sometimes I walk up the south stairway to the fourth floor, then down the north stairway just to enjoy the marble architecture and the fine mosaics. There are always wonderful exhibits on the fourth and second floors. On the main floor are three small galleries having unusual exhibits and worth a stop.

Recently I saw something there that blew my mind. It is a wonderful exhibit of paintings by Brazilian artists. I am going back to spend more time just looking.

Go. Relax. Enjoy.
