Her divorce proceedings remain as private as she can possibly make them, but Jessica Simpson’s new album will be “A Public Affair.”
Yes, the album takes the same name as Simpson’s single, which is streaming on jessicasimpson.com. The album drops Aug. 29, Simpson’s record label announced, and the video for the single will premiere July 19 on MTV’s “TRL,” billboard.com reports.
But this is Jessica Simpson–ahem, star of “The Dukes of Hazzard,” ahem–so no ordinary music video will do.
The clip for “A Public Affair” was overseen by none other than “X-Men: The Last Stand” director Brett Ratner and features Eva Longoria, Christina Applegate, Ryan Seacrest, Christina Milian, Andy Dick and Maria Menounos.
And you know how hard it is to get Ryan Seacrest to appear on TV.
