– The actor who plays temperamental chef Artie Bucco on “The Sopranos” avoided jail time for driving while impaired in a plea bargain deal, authorities said. John Ventimiglia, 42, will visit 30 schools to caution against drinking and driving under the agreement announced Monday in a Brooklyn courtroom. Ventimiglia will also lose his license for 90 days and pay a $500 fine, among other conditions. He was arraigned May 1 on drunken driving, drug possession and other charges.

– Kate Moss is back at Burberry. The fashion house scrapped a campaign featuring the supermodel last year following tabloid accusations that she had used drugs. Moss, 32, appears in a white lace trench coat at the center of Burberry’s main autumn-winter 2006-07 ad, one in a series shot by photographer Mario Testino and launched Monday to celebrate the company’s 150th anniversary. Burberry distanced itself from Moss in September after pictures of her allegedly using cocaine were published. The company dropped plans for her to appear in its fall 2005 campaign.

The change in management, which Bain called “the first of a sweeping restructuring of his personal and business affairs,” is an apparent attempt by Jackson to salvage his finances.
