David Ronald Williams, 53, of Dike, died Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Sartori Memorial Hospital in Cedar Falls.Memorial Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2006 at the Fredsville Evangelical Lutheran Church, with Pastor Donald Feuerhak officiating. David was born December 17, 1952 in Aurora, IL, the son of William Langley Williams and Barbara Ann (Herman) Williams. On July 29, 1989 he was united in marriage to Laura Jean Whedon in Schaumburg, IL. David worked as a Railroad Engineer for the Canadian National Railroad. The couple have lived in Elk Grove Village, IL, Wishek, ND, and Dike, IA. David was a member of the Fredsville Evangelical Lutheran Church in rural Cedar Falls, IA. He was preceded in death by his father William Langley Williams; his mother Barbara Chiman; his grandparents Marion and Henry Herman, and Walter and Minnie Williams; and sister Judy Williams. Survivors include his wife Laura of Dike, IA; daughters, Sarah (Cory) Kramer of Elgin, IL, Nicole (Augie) Rofriguez of Elgin, IL, and Anna and Emma Williams of Dike, IA; a son, David David Williams Jr. of Dike, IA; a granddaughter, Alice Kramer; a step-father Juan Chiman of Barnesville, GA; sisters, Susan Herman (Ron) Lien of Lake Nebagamon, WI, Laura (Mark) Seelinger of Creedmoor, NC and Vanessa (Bryan) Patch of Lisle, IL; a brother, Daniel (Celia) Williams of Barnesville, GA; also many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
