Joseph “Joe” Bernstein, formerly of Skokie and Pompano, FL. Beloved husband of Charlotte, nee Mark, and the late Shirley, nee Rosenberg; loving father of Meryl (Len), Judy (Gary), Harlan (Roberta), David and Randy (Amy); cherished grandfather of nine; dear brother of Ruby and the late Pearl (late Max) and Harry; dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. A private service was held in Iowa City and a memorial is being planned for a date in July. In lieu of flowers, the famliy asks that donations be made in his name to their favorite charity.
