Community District 117
Lakes Community High School in Lake Villa will have about 1,200 students in the fall, the first term with all four grade levels, freshmen through seniors. Since opening, the school has added one grade level each year, a move designed to ease the process of opening a new building. For more information, call 847-838-7100.
The 2006 Senior Class at Antioch Community High School selected a “spirit desk,” a portable reception desk, as a gift to be used at athletic events and for greeters at the main entrance to the high school. The desk was presented at the commencement ceremony June 1.
