T.U.T.A. Theatre Chicago’s hit show “Huddersfield” has added two final performances at Victory Gardens on July 5 and 9. … The Bohemian Theatre Ensemble, which concludes its successful run of the musical “Side Show” on July 9 at the Theatre Building Chicago, says it’s considering moving the hit show to another North Side venue. … The Neofuturists are hosting a special Independence Day performance of “Too Much Light,” followed by a dance party with beer included in the ticket price. … Second City’s national touring production, “Truth, Justice or The American Way,” will spend most of the summer at Arlington Heights’ Metropolis Performing Arts Centre. The show plays a six-week run, July 27-Sept. 2. Also at Metropolis, Frankie Avalon will kick off the second year of “Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding” with appearances on July 18 and 19. … First the Las Vegas production tanked, now the first national tour of “Hairspray” is over–Portland was the last stop. A non-union version follows. …. “Huffs,” the autobiographical one-woman show by actor/comedian Kelsie Huff, first seen in March, is re-opening at the Royal George Theatre July 7. … TV and film actor Malik Yoba is starring in the national tour of “Work It Out,” coming to the Arie Crown Theatre July 20-23. … And expect at least one blockbuster title in the Marriott Theatre in Lincolnshire’s 2007 season.
