Kenneth J. Reckamp, 70, of Huntley, formerly of Arlington Heights, passed away June 27, 2006 at his home. He was born October 25, 1935 in Wheeling, the son of Claude and Margaret, nee Burkemper Reckamp. Ken married his loving wife Otteline, nee Putman on June 24, 1967. He worked for Pepper Construction Company for 33 years, leaving a legacy of beautiful buildings and homes throughout Chicago and the suburbs. Most important to him was spending time with the people he loved. He was well known for his kindness and generosity to his family and friends and will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Otteline; children, Bryan (Laura) Reckamp, Diane (Dave) Frisch, Karen Reckamp and Mark (Emily) Reckamp; brothers, Herb, Bob, Tom, Melvin, Allan and Wayne Reckamp; sisters, Alice Reckamp, Ruthie Conter, Peg Nowak and Norma Laken; and seven beloved grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Florence Horcher and Eileen Kamis. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 2, 2006 from 5 to 9 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 10307 Huntley/Dundee Rd., Huntley and Monday from 9 a.m. until the 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Harvard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to the Les Turner ALS Foundation, 8142 N. lawndale, Skokie, IL 60067. The James A.
