Florence Flisyn, age 86, of Lansing, passed away on Thursday, June 29, 2006. She is survived by two sons, Hubert (Beverly) and Rindert “Rico” (Fae) Flisyn; two grandchildren, Eric (Nicole) Flisyn and Allison (Tony) Bouie; three great-grandchildren, Hope Flisyn, Kaylie Flisyn and Natalie Bouie; two sisters, Ida (Wim) Cnossen and Aukje (Jelle) Rozenga. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wiert. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 3, at 6:30 p.m., at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Glenwood-Lansing Rd. (enter north doors) with Rev. Gerrit Veenstra, officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, beginning at 3:30 p.m., at the church. Mrs. Flisyn was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to the US in 1956 and was a longtime resident of the Dolton-Lansing area.
