Jon Riggs Fowler, 68 years old, beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2006. He was born on Feb. 21, 1938 in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Carl Evans and Ann Llewellyn Fowler. A retired executive in the furniture industry, Jon was a graduate of Stanford University, Harvard Business School and a former naval officer. Jon was an avid hunter, golfer, dog lover and wine connoisseur. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margaret Ann Fowler; his son and daughter-in-law, Jon Evans and Amity Fowler of London, England and their children, Carson, Morgan and Jackson Fowler; his daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Mark Turgeon of Wichita, KS and their children, William, Ella and Leo Turgeon; his daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Tommy MacLeod of London, England and their daughter, Anna Riggs MacLeod. He is also survived by his brother, William Evans Fowler of Grand Rapids, MI; numerous nieces and nephews; and his best friend, a chocolate lab named Murphy.
