Edward K. “Yato” Walsh, born November 18, 1930. Beloved husband of Patricia M. Walsh, nee Didesch; loving father of Michael, Patrick and Timothy; loving grandfather of nine grandchildren. Attended St. Chlotilde’s Grammar School, Mount Carmel High School, Loras College (Dubuque, IA); commissioned officer Lieutenant, J.G. USN. A Man of All Seasons, he was a food industry entrepreneur, avid horseman, a man of deep faith and private benefactor of multiple charities, Knight of The Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem, former member of the Board of Trustees of Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL). Mentor to many and loved by all who truly knew him. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 5, from 6:30 p.m. until 9 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Church, 770 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park, IL. A visitation will also be held on Thursday, July 6, from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass 10:30 a.m., at Immaculate Conception Church.
