– Mia Farrow, who recently returned from her second trip to Darfur, says more international aid is desperately needed in the western Sudanese province. The actress and UNICEF goodwill ambassador told ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday that in Darfur alone, UNICEF has only 20 percent of what it needs to continue its work.
– Jose Carreras will sing again in Sarajevo, 12 years after performing in a burned-out library to raise money for rebuilding the war-ravaged Bosnian capital. The tenor said over the weekend that he will perform July 10 with the Sarajevo Philharmonic Orchestra as part of a music festival.
– The latest hijacked pictures of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie reportedly were taken by Jolie’s brother, James Haven, and left on a digital camera he sent in for repair, the BBC reported. Officers went to a Westfield, Mass., home of a camera shop worker after tracking photos that appeared on the Internet. They reportedly found a memory stick at the home and found the camera at the shop.
