Phyllis Shrock, nee Peter, died Monday, May 22, from complications from longtime heart problems. Born in Chicago in 1920. Survivors include daughter, Priscilla Sloan Matthews, Peter John Shrock; and sisters, Sylvia Preston and Marion McMahon. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at the Church of the Holy Spirit in Lake Forest. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lake Forest Hospital or to Midwest Hospice Care Center, 2050 Claire Court, Glenview, IL 60025.
