Chicago Tribune Magnificent Mile Art Festival

Shop the Mag Mile without stepping foot inside one air-conditioned tourist trap. Browse works by more than 200 award-winning painters, potters, jewelry makers and more at this 15th annual event. Ninth Annual Chicago Folk and Roots Festival

Think fests and yoga don’t go hand-in-hand (or foot-over-head)? Guess again. Fifth Annual Lake View Music Fest

Lakeview weekends already remind us of the circus, minus the big top and clowns, but this fest ratchets up the excitement with live music, area eats, a fashion show (Saturday) and merchant booths. What are you waiting for, a dinner reservation? If you skipped Taste last weekend, now’s the time to go: This week features the likes of music headliners Anthony Hamilton and India.Arie (Wednesday), Macy Gray (Friday) and Liz Phair (Saturday), not to mention mouth-watering treats as far as the eye can see. 11 a.m. daily through Sunday. St. Andrew’s 45th Annual Greek Festival

If you’re as crazy about Greek eats as we are, you’ll save room (that’s of the stomach and the calendar variety) for this traditional fair.
