Beloved husband of the late Marilyn, nee Gawlik; father of Rose (Paul) Smolinski of Janesville, WI, Carolyn (David) Orlow of Kenosha, WI, Lauren (Charles) Elkin of Chicago, Jeanine (John) Radzinski of Wood Dale and Robert (Suzanne) Avila of Streamwood; grandfather of Christopher (Adrienne) and James (Brooke) Smolinski, Liana (Andrew) Blint, Samantha and Jack Elkin, Ryan Radzinski, Annalise and Joshua Avila; great-grandfather of Payton Smolinski; brother of Martha (Rodney) Diaz and the late Rudy (Dee) Avila; brother-in-law of Margaret Gawlik; dearson of the late Jesus and Modesta Avila. A Memorial Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at Gordon Tech High School Chapel,3601 N. California, Chicago.
