Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I think it’s a great idea that John Stroger wants his son on the November ballot. In fact, I’m sure that John Stroger would want his doctor’s son to take over his health care. Stroger shouldn’t mind that his doctor’s son may not be qualified. He may be an accountant, or a plumber. But I’m sure the talent is in the genes, right? Look how well it worked out with the Bush family. Choosing the guy who came in second in the primary wouldn’t be nearly as fair to the voters as slating Stroger’s son, would it?

If this nepotism idea goes well for Stroger, maybe the Cubs could field a team with all the sons of the current players. Sure they’d be young, but they couldn’t do much worse than the fathers.

And let’s not discriminate against the girls. Let’s put some of the Cubs daughters in there too.

Forget party affiliation and vote for the other guy. That’s the only way we get to break the cycle, and the power is in our hands with our votes.
