This is in response to “Democrats’ plan” (Voice of the people, June 27), from Robert Graham. At least Democrats are offering up some ideas on how to deal with Iraq. All that is heard from the administration and the Republicans, besides name-calling, is “stay the course” and “victory,” which are not plans but advertising slogans (much like their famous whine of “cut and run”). The truth is, this president didn’t have a plan going into Iraq and he certainly doesn’t have a plan on how to get out.
