When I heard of Randy Walker’s untimely death, I was shocked. I paused for a moment and said a prayer for the Northwestern community. Through all the trials and tribulations of the past few years, Walker maintained his integrity and great character. His legacy shouldn’t be that he was the second-winningest coach in Wildcats history, but the thousands of individuals who have moved on to succeed through his spirit.
May he be at peace with God, and may his family be blessed with the knowledge that his legacy will live forever with us.
