Guess the White Sox can count PETA as fans. The activists recently named U.S. Cellular Field to its Top 10 Vegetarian-Friendly Ballparks list for 2006. Reasons cited: the veggie dogs, veggie burgers, fruit cup and “corn off the cob.”
AT&T Park in San Francisco topped the list with its vegetarian sushi, veggie kabobs and veggie baguettes. Wrigley Field was shut out.
Rest of the list:
– Tampa’s Tropicana Field
– San Diego’s PETCO Park
– Oakland’s McAfee Coliseum
– Seattle’s Safeco Field
– Colorado’s Coors Field
– Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park
– Arizona’s Chase Field
– Milwaukee’s Miller Park and St. Louis’ Busch Stadium (tied for 10th)
