Daniel G. White, 69, of Sugar Grove, died Friday, July 7, 2006, after a short illness at Provena Mercy Medical Center in Aurora. He was born August 4, 1936 in Chicago, the son of Matthew and Agnes White. He had retired from Jewel Foods in Melrose Park after 32 years. More recently he worked part-time for McGrath Auto in St. Charles. Dan is survived by his wife of 28 years, Ardis, nee Reed; three children, Daniel of Chicago, Connie (Arnie) Gamboa of Bensenville and Adrienne (Luke) Driessen of Elgin; brother, Robert of Hudson, FL; sister, Dorothy (Bud) Dabbs of Glen Ellyn, IL; and granddaughter Arianna Gamboa. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2006 at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove, IL 60554. Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at Mount Emblem Cemetery, Grand Avenue and County Line Road, Elmhurst, IL.
