Joren E. Apiquian, age 73, a resident of Romeoville, IL, formerly of Woodridge, IL, died peacefully Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at Meadowbrook Manor, Bolingbrook, IL. He was born October 2, 1932 in Mexico City, Mexico. Joren is survived by his wife, Edeltraut, nee Muehleisen, Apiquian, whom he married December 12, 1958; five children, Joren (Lisa) Apiquian, Andre Apiquian, Judith Apiquian, Ralph (Lori) Apiquian and Heidimarie (Kent) Hann; 12 grandchildren, Sonja (Mark) Rauchpaul, Donald Kelly, Justin Applin, Patrick, Grant, Melanie, Amy, Nicole, Lea, J.B., A.J. and Timmy Apiquian; a great-granddaughter – Adriana Nava; two Brothers, Enrique and Arturo Apiquian and; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Archavir and Enriqueta, nee Nava, Apiquian; and two brothers, Bonnie and Rogelio Apiquian. Joren served in the U.S. Army in the late 1950’s and was employed for 34 years with Spiegel, Inc., Chicago as a computer analyst. Visitation Thursday, 4 to – 8 p.m. at Overman-Jones Funeral Home, 309 S. Joliet Rd., Plainfield. Services will begin Friday, 10 a.m. from the funeral home and will proceed to a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary Immaculate Church, 15629 S. Route 59, Plainfield. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Alzheimer’s Association. For info, (815)436-9221.
