Ben Roethlisberger has not shown his face in public since the June 12 motorcycle accident in which he suffered multiple facial fractures. But that won’t keep him from teeing off at this year’s American Century Championship. The Pittsburgh Steelers QB has confirmed that convalescing from the accident is not going to keep him from his favorite golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nev. “His people called up and said under no circumstances take him off the list,” NBC Sports Senior Vice President John Miller said. The network will televise the 54-hole tournament this weekend. While we await seeing Roethlisberger’s face, one face we won’t see is Michael Jordan’s. He cited personal issues in withdrawing Tuesday.
