Charles C. Krause, 27, of Shindagen Hill Rd, and formerly of Detroit, MI, passed away Monday, July 10, 2006, at Putnam County Hospital Center, in Carmel. Born on April 11, 1979, in Royal Oak, MI., he was the son of Raymond and Martha Krause. Charlie attended Brookside School in Bloomfield Hills, MI, the American International School of Zurich, the Hong Kong International School and graduated from the International School of Beijing in 1997. He studied psychology at Hope College, the University of Kansas and Stetson University. He loved music and was the lead singer in several rock bands. He was a talented writer and illustrator who created imaginative comics. He worked many jobs to support his passion of singing and songwriting. Charlie has many friends all over the world, all of whom will miss him dearly. When Charlie was around, quiet disappeared. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Rena and John Hicks, of Holland MI. Charlie is survived by his beloved, Kristin Reppert of Carmel; his parents, Raymond and Martha Krause; his sisters, Rena Krause of Chicago, IL and Anna Seerey of Islamorada, FL; his paternal grandparents, Clarence and June Krause of Queensbury; his great-grandmother, Cecil Allen of Queensbury; his aunt and uncle, James and Darlene Tucker of Hartford; and his cousins, Eric and Lucas Tucker. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday evening at the Carleton Funeral Home, Inc., 68 Main St., Hudson Falls. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Friday at the Church of the Messiah, on Glen St. in Glens Falls with the Rev. Scott Harding, pastor, officiating. In lieu of flowers, Charlie’s family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Salvation Army, 13 Chester St., Glens Falls, NY 12801 or the Church of The Messiah Fellowship Dinner Fund, 296 Glen St., Glens Falls, NY 12801.
