William Clark Tippens, 78, of Chicago, passed away July 10, 2006, after a long and courageous fight against Multiple Myeloma. Beloved husband of Eleanor, nee Wilkinson; loving father of Louise Tippens (Peter West), William W. (Christine) Tippens; doting grandfather of Riley West, Patrick and Clark Tippens; dear brother of Constance (Horace) Jordan, the late Dorr (Doris) Tippens, Anne (the late Charles) Buck, Albert (Alicia) Tippens, Martin (Joyce) Tippens; dearly loved by many nieces and nephews. Memorial serice will be held 3 p.m., Saturday, July 15, 2006, at St. Chrysostom’s Church, 1424 N. Dearborn Prkwy., Chicago. Interment private.
