Doris Kofman, nee Sax, beloved wife of the late Dr. Sydney Kofman; devoted mother of Bonnie (Mark) Oseas, Paul (Seara) Kofman, Clyde Kofman and Kerri (Stuart) Ringel; proud grandmother of 11; dear sister of Elaine (Charles) Finkelstein and the late Mildred Zerkel. Doris was a registered dietician and also earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in voice. She was active in community theatre and a longtime member of Congregation Beth Shalom and their choir. She was the founder of the “Red Hot Grandmas”, a senior singing quartet. Service will be held Monday, 12 p.m., at The Weinstein Funeral Homes North Shore Chapel, 111 Skokie Blvd., Wilmette.
