Bernerd I. Lowery, age 76, of Crystal Lake, IL, formerly of Mt. Prospect, died at his home on July 13, 2006 with his wife at his side. He was born in Bloomington, IL on July 17, 1929. After a 27 year career in retail with Al Baskin/Mark Shale, he continued his career as a sales representative in the apparel industry until his retirement. His wife, Sandra, nee Donaldson, of Crystal Lake; three daughters, Debbi Gerdes, Susan Bouchard and Victoria Pelton; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren, all in Joliet, IL survive him. Private services will be held. The family requests memorials to the American Diabetes Assn., P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720. Arrangements by Cremation Society of Illinois.
