Arlene Yocom, nee Erickson, a longtime resident of Evanston and recently of Flossmoor passed away July 15, 2006 at age 83. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard Yocom; loving aunt of Janice (Mel) Fugett of Flossmoor, William (Marjorie) Thorsness of Hinsdale, Kathy Dehen of Springfield and Michael (Lili) Dehen of Tucson; cherished great-aunt of William (Renee) Carrier Jr., Janelle Carrier, William W. Thorsness III, Robert J. Thorsness, Jonathan A. Thorsness and Elizabeth A. Thorsness; greatgreat aunt of Jenna Nicole Carrier; dear sister-in-law of Marylou Erickson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hjalmar and Ebba Erickson, sister Adele (William) Thorsness and brother Robert Erickson. Arlene was a wonderful person who never will be forgotten by her family and friends. Services will be private and memorial contributions may be directed to Northwestern University in Evanston.
