Verna E. Angarola, nee Rue, 97, died in Ocala, Florida, June 28, 2006, longtime resident of Chicago, born in Lakefield, MN. Registered nurse for 25 years at Norwegian-American Hospital in Chicago. Devoted mother of Barry R. (Virginia) of Palatine, IL and Ocala, and Diane R. Massey of Ocala; sister of Elsie Ahrens of Motley, MN; grandmother of five; great-grandmother of eight. Preceded in death by husband Rocco Angarola Jr. and son, John P. Angarola; sisters Gert Voehl, Maybel Rue, Mable Rue, Myrt Pietz, Edna Tostenson, Oline Voehl, Glady Rue and Betty Rue; brothers Mel, Bud and Albert Rue.
