This is regarding “A fraud on Cook County voters” (Editorial, July 9).
This little dance that the Stroger people have performed over the past several months only amuses and entertains themselves.
The voters are outraged at this performance and have been wise to it for as long as the show has been going on.
To be so outrageously self-serving could be why politicians are no longer held in the high regard they once were. Why should anyone go to the polls to vote for any of these people? That is what is terribly wrong with our political system.
Forrest Claypool earned almost as many votes as John Stroger did in the primary election; he should be the Democratic candidate on the November ballot.
Why?
Because the people voted for him.
