Barton L. Vance, age 81, resident of St. Charles, formerly of Wheaton, retired District Sales manager for Ingersoll-Rand. He retired after 40 years of service. Active member of Gary Memorial United Methodist Church in Wheaton and member of the Kiwanis Club. Beloved husband of the late Barbara M.; loving father of David (Clarisa), Alan (Chris) and Dale (Shellie) Vance; proud grandfather of Justin (Rachel), Jenny, Christopher, Darby and Chance; great-grandfather of Kya; dear brother of Jane Tennant and Patricia Schloop; brother-in-law of Virginia Vance and Glenn (Geri Ann) Matthews; fond uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.
