Janet Eileen Engel, loving mother and grandmother, passed away July 3, 2006 in Arlington, VA. Born Feb. 6, 1916 in Two Harbors, MN, she lived most of her life in Chicago before moving to Fairfax County, VA in 1986. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer John. Surviving are her sons, Chris, Paul (Nancy) and Charles (Christine); daughters, Myrna Fogarty, Andrea Engel (Ray) and Denise Norwood (Donald); 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Donations to Halquist Memorial Inpatient Center, 4715 N. 15th Street, Arlington, VA would be appreciated.
