The Chicago Federation of Musicians (the union for the Chicago Symphony and Lyric Opera orchestras, among others) called this building home from 1932 until about two years ago, when it moved to new offices on West Randolph Street. But these carvings–the harpist is one of three–depicting fellow tradesmen and women remain. Just look up.
