I’ve been a proud Democrat until last week. Now I’m ashamed to be associated with a party that puts its leaders’ personal advancement before constituents’ rights to elect their leaders.
The combination of Todd Stroger’s shameless, pathetic power grab and the Democrat commissioners’ desire to keep power within their own “family” is an embarrassment to all Cook County Democrats.
