– I am a huge “One Tree Hill” fan and have heard talk of it not coming back for another season. Please tell me it is indeed coming back. –Summer Fern, Lawton, Okla.

OK, it is indeed coming back. Although there were some doubts before the fall lineup officially was announced, the new CW ultimately did opt to pick up the drama from the remains of the soon-to-close WB Network, and the show will start its fourth year this fall. So yes, you’ll find out whether Nathan (James Lafferty) and the others make it out of that submerged car.

– The music from the fifth season of “24” was especially good. Is a soundtrack available on compact disc? –Marzee Denham, Florissant, Mo.

Not from the Fox show’s fifth year specifically, at least not yet, but some of composer Sean Callery’s music for its earlier years is available in a CD compilation. Also, as in previous years, the entire past season of the series should be released by Fox Home Entertainment before the next one begins in January.

– I would like to know if the James Bond movies with Roger Moore will be available on DVD. –Deborah Landers, St. Petersburg, Fla.

They’ve been available several times in the past, along with the Sean Connery, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan ones, but they’re usually put on moratorium after a certain period of time. You may still be able to find past editions if you shop around.

However, video industry reports have suggested that MGM Home Entertainment is planning to release new “ultimate” DVD editions of the Bond films this fall to coincide with the release of the latest one, “Casino Royale,” starring the screen’s newest Agent 007, Daniel Craig. Those reports also indicate Moore has recorded new audio commentaries for his movies in the series.

– I was a big fan of Dick Clark and “American Bandstand.” Around 1960, he also had a Saturday night show with various performers singing the top 10 songs of that era. Do you remember the name of the show and the years it was on? –Louis Steinhagen, Haddon Heights, N.J.

It was “The Dick Clark Show,” and it aired on ABC from 1958 to 1960. The “top 10” element actually was the early revealing of the songs that would be on that chart for the following week’s “American Bandstand.”
