“Saturday Night Live” might be less funny this fall. (Hard to imagine, right?)
“SNL” is losing its head writer and “Weekend Update” co-anchor Tina Fey, and one of its main character actors, Rachel Dratch. Both are moving to Fey’s NBC comedy series “30 Rock.”
At least one person will miss them. “If you’re asking if I’m happy about it, no,” said Lorne Michaels, executive producer of “30 Rock” and “SNL.” “Tina disappearing is a huge hole in the writing staff.”
“I’m out of the fake news business now,” said Second City alum Fey, who broke the news Friday on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”
